The PlateTopper was invented by Michael Tseng while helping his parents store food in their kitchen. As an undergraduate at Princeton University, Michael enrolled in an engineering course to build a prototype of the invention with three friends. He later worked with SR Design and Loew Co to further develop the product in the San Francisco Bay Area. Michael founded Prestagon LLC, with the help of Ryan Hughes, to share the PlateTopper with everyone who wants to store food on a plate!
